Welcome to live on an idyllic island, free from cars, with water, forest and meadow just outside the door. Storön is located in Sweden's largest lake,Vänern, just outside Otterbäcken. You can only get to Storön by boat. The homeowners arrange transport there and to the mainland. The cottage is located high up on the ridge overlooking the water and you can swim almost anywhere. The cottage is small but smartly planned and has everything. Nice terrace outside with wooden deck and plenty of seating outside. You are welcomed into a bright living room with a sofa bed and stove. Directly from the living room is the sleeping alcove with two site-built beds. The kitchen is a kitchenette that has everything you could need. There is also a pantry with groceries at cost price. Eggs can be bought on the farm located on the island and bicycles can be borrowed.

Here you live perfectly for the small family who want to live on an island in beautiful lake Vänern. Beautiful nature surrounded by water. Plenty of mushrooms and berries in the fall and you can swim almost anywhere on the island. This is a accommodation that must be experienced. It's absolutely amazing!
