Holiday home in Sunne V

This charming holiday home is a traditional Swedish cottage set only fifty metres from lake Ragvaldstjärn. Private 200 m shore along the lake.

The two-storey cottage was fully renovated in 2003 and the interior is tastefully decorated in a traditional, Swedish country style. It features a light, airy kitchen and two living rooms with one open fireplace in each. The chimney is not approved for fires but you can light candles on the hearth for cozy evenings in. One of the living rooms opens onto a spacious, roofed terrace on the south side of the cottage. A TV with Apple-tv and free wireless high speed internet is included in the rent. The bottom floor also features a bathroom with a WC, a shower, and a washing machine. On the second floor you will find two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with four beds, two 105 cm and two 90 cm. The attic is equipped with a double extra bed (140 cm). The stair leading up is somewhat rackety.

Enjoy the enchanting view from the terrace and from the large, beautiful garden. This is the perfect place to spend long, lingering summer days in the shade of leafy Birch trees. There is a dock and a rowing boat by the lake. Why not try your hand at fishing? Chances are you catch a nice, big bass which will make for an excellent evening meal. Should you feel like visiting a sandy beach then there is one only 5 kilometres away.

Sunne is the hometown of the world famous writer Göran Tunström. Many a reader has been enchanted by his description of the beauty of this area. When you see it in person it is easy to understand why. This is the perfect place for those who enjoy tranquility, clean air, and Swedish nature at it's very best!
