Alcossebre stretches from the Irta and Murs mountains, a large alluvial esplanade disperses until it reaches the sea and its beaches. Quality accommodation and excellent beaches to which is added a magnificent offer of restaurants, have placed this space as a privileged tourist destination, highly appreciated by visitors and where it is possible to enjoy outdoor activities at the same time.
and the rest of a vacation.

Alcossebre is today one of the most welcoming places on the Castellón Coast, the beauty of its surroundings, bordered by protected natural landscapes, beaches and coves of fine sand, and a careful urban planning that leaves no room for overcrowding, makes Alcossebre is a perfect destination for those looking for a quiet vacation spot with varied spaces to enjoy.
If we are looking for nature, a short distance from Alcossebre we can enjoy the Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca Natural Parks, the Columbretes Islands, the Las Palmas Desert, the Penyagolosa Massif, the Sierra de Espadán ..., or the Underground River of Vall d ´Uxó.
If our interest is more cultural or recreational, we can visit the coastal towns of Peñíscola, Oropesa del Mar and Benicassim, or inland, towns such as Morella, Sant Mateu and Vilafamés, among others.

The Serra d’Irta Natural Park, together with the D’Irta Marine Reserve, is a protected area of 12,000 hectares, located north of Alcossebre.
Its flora is that of a semi-arid area with a Mediterranean climate. The pine forests live in dialogue with the palm heart, rosemary and phenoll. The calcareous white rock substrate makes the coastline spectacular, with cliffs that alternate with small coves.
The Park is located to the north of the Valencian Community, between the towns of Peñíscola, Santa Magdalena de Pulpis, Alcalà de Xivert and Alcossebre.

It represents one of the last unbuilt coastal mountain ranges on the Mediterranean coast and constitutes one of the most beautiful landscapes on the Valencian coast. Its maximum height is 572 m at the Campanilles peak, and its steep slopes descend gently towards the sea, where along 12 km of coastline, practically unchanged, there are numerous cliffs and coves. At its base, continuously eroded by the force of the water, caves, hollows and cliffs are formed that constitute the habitat of different seabirds (gulls and cormorants) that have their perches here.
