Holiday home in Varberg V

A newly renovated and modern holiday home in a small cottage area. The cottage is located high with a secluded, rural and quiet location. Horses walk in the pastures and the sea is visible from the cottage. A small secluded beach is within walking or cycling distance. A short distance away is Bua's picturesque community with both a harbor and a larger bathing spot. A lovely cottage on a nice and secluded plot.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms. One with a double bed and one with a 120 cm bed. The kitchen is open with a living room that has a dining area, wood burning stove, TV and comfortable seating. The bathroom has a shower and comfortable underfloor heating. The sleeping loft is accessed via a fairly steep ladder and there is an extra bed that is 140 cm. The garden has a beautiful front with a large and nice wooden deck with outdoor furniture, barbecue and parasol. Several small patios are also available to get sun or shade. Lawn is perfect for various family activities.

In the small community of Väröbacka there is both a shop and an inn. In Bua, there is also all service here. Right next to the harbor is Bua's largest bathing beach with a fine sandy beach and a view of the harbor entrance and its passing sailboats. From Bua you are close to the nice summer town of Varberg with a throng of people, taverns, cafes and dance venues, everything that belongs to a summer town. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen in the distance. Take a walk down into the bastions and casemates, follow from the 13th century to our own time.

Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous bird sanctuaries. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café. Bring your swimwear because there are nice beaches on Getterön. Another nice excursion destination is Åkulla beech forests and for those of you who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage Grimeton. The golfer visits Sjögärde GK's fine golf course with 18 holes, which is about 17 km away. For those interested in fishing, Viskan is quite close and of course the sea.
