Description
Welcome to Råda in Hagfors Municipality, located in beautiful Värmland with the lively winding Klarälven which originated from Härjedalen and also flowed into Norway via the Trysilälven river. Here you are close to fantastic fishing in both running water and calmer lakes. Bring the canoes and listen to the silence as you glide along the various lakes or why not take a ride with the dressage along the old train tracks.
The area is known for its rich wildlife where you can see everything from moose and wolves to forest marten or capercaillie. Berry-rich areas that offer both blueberries, lingonberries, cloudberries and mushrooms during the season. In the winter there are nice snowmobile trails and an hour north is Branäs ski area or Hovfjället ski resort. Both well-attended summer and winter.
The house has 3 floors. On the entrance level there is a kitchen with living room and bathroom with shower and toilet. Here you have access to a fantastic terrace with a roof so you can sit outside when the rain slams against the roof. NOTE: There are no Swedish channels on the TV! But there are several channels in different languages via satellite TV. In the basement there is a washing machine with dryer and here is one of the bedrooms which has 2 single beds (90 cm). On the third floor are the remaining two bedrooms, one with 2 single beds (90 cm) and one with a double bed. The house was completely renovated in 2009 and cleaning is mandatory in this accommodation for the best comfort and coziness. 200 kwh / week is included, in addition the electricity is exclusive. Bed linen and towels can be pre-ordered.
The outdoor lawn invites to outdoor play. The accommodation is allowed for pets but be sure to have them connected as the national road goes outside the house and at certain weeks of the year when the tourist flow is greater, the road can be a little heavier loaded with traffic.
