The house is original from the 1960s, later remodeled and thoroughly restored in 2019 and present itself in the iconic and beautiful Skagen residential design in typical yellow hue and the white lace board at the red roof tiles. The holiday home has a 135m2 design in two plans, kept in a clean white color, which invites to a light filled surroundings creating pleasant friendly atmosphere feeling at home and welcome.
The holiday home comes with a large open kitchen-dining-living room area and which is the heart of the home to spend time in. A “touch of Finland” is the color inspiration and the space has a new white kitchen cabinets and new appliances , lovely dining room area furnished with a white dining table and chairs plus a living room furnished with a modern l-shape sofa and wall mounted TV. From the kitchen there is direct access to the outdoor southern sun exposed terrace. The holiday home comes with four bedrooms; master bedroom first floor and the remaining three bedrooms on the top floor; one bedroom furnished with a double bed, second bedroom with a narrow double bed and a third furnished with a sleeping coach room for two persons. The two floors are connected by a beautiful wooden staircase and the hall area near the base of the staircase you’ll find the washer/dryer hidden behind white cupboard doors. At the top of the staircase, a repo with plenty of floor space and a cozy relaxing TV area, floor madras and wall mounted TV. The holiday home comes with two bright modern bathrooms, both has shower facilities; one bathroom located on the main floor, a second bathroom on the first floor which comes with a handheld and head shower.
The outdoor enhances the holiday home with its additional southern exposed terrace furnished with garden furniture’s, sunbeds, barbecue plus a huge lawn outdoor area. At the first floor you’ll find a small balcony that has and is furnished with a build-in wood bench on both sides. Enjoy the balcony for sunrise and perhaps a quiet relaxing time before the rest of the family is awaken, followed by the inspiration to a early rise morning dip in the clean fresh ocean at the “Sønderstrand” beach?
SIGHTSEEING IN THE AREA:
Explore "Grenen" the top of Denmark, where the wo seas North Sea & The Baltic Sea met, is a key site to visit when in Skagen. "Grenen" is located approx. 3 km. north of the holiday home and can on a leisurely stroll easily be reached in half an hour.
Within an radius of 1,5 km. from the vacation home you can enjoy the famous lighthouse area; the iconic wooden Bascule Lighthouse construction, the White Lighthouse, the Grey Lighthouse (now a international experience center for migrating birds) and Skagen West also called 'the pencil". Historically “Grenen” has been a challenging place to pass for ships & vessels and if out guest are inclined to embrace our local history of Skagen, a visit to our open air coastal historical museum is to be recommended. Here you will find interesting historical facts and stories about Skagen Lighthouses and the many shipwrecks that happen.
Skagen Marina and the heart center of Skagen offer many boutiques, cafes, galleries and restaurants, you will find in a short distance, south of the holiday home. A popular way to explore Skagen by bicycle, an easy quick way to get around
