Holiday home in Javorník

6 Sleeps

3 Bedrooms

Description

Perched in the breathtaking landscape of North Bohemia, this alluring holiday home in Javorník is a true mountain sanctuary. Designed for friends and families who crave the quiet pull of nature, this three-bedroom retreat comfortably hosts up to six guests. The interior radiates a warm, welcoming energy, flowing effortlessly into an open, well-equipped kitchen where you can gather to cook and share stories after a day of alpine exploration.

The magic of the property extends to the outdoors, where a private terrace serves as your front-row seat to the rolling hills. It is the perfect spot for a slow afternoon tea or a morning stretch in the crisp mountain air. While you’ll feel beautifully secluded, the local lifestyle is well within reach; you are just 4 km from the manicured greens of the Mladé Buky golf course and a short drive from the vibrant town centers of Vrchlabí and Trutnov, where history, shopping, and regional Czech dining await.

Staying here is an adventure that shifts with the seasons. During the winter months, the house transforms into a snowy wonderland. Please note that during heavy snowfall, the mountain path becomes part of the elements; if the road is inaccessible, you’ll leave your car at the bottom of the hill and enjoy a short, scenic walk up to your front door—a true "off-the-beaten-path" experience. With thoughtful amenities like a high chair and cot available for the little ones and the peaceful, pet-free environment, this home is the ideal base for a restorative escape into the Giant Mountains.

SUMMER: The Czech Republic has a continental climate which means that the summers are nice and warm and dry. Those summers in the Czech Republic have something to offer everyone, whether you enjoy sports or prefer to enjoy the wonderful nature and beautiful landscape. The active holidaymaker can go cycling, mountain biking, paragliding, rappelling, mountain climbing (Pec pod Snežkou), hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, golf, swimming (sportoviste-trutnov) or a scenic flight. A day trip to beautiful Prague (120 km) is definitely worth it. A visit to one of the other places worth seeing, fortresses and castles is also certainly possible. Or visit the second largest safari park in Europe (Safari Park Dvùr Králové). WINTER: This holiday home is also a good choice in the winter months. It is ideal for a skiing holiday with the family or a group of friends. It is central to the larger winter sports resorts in the Czech Republic such as Janské Láznì, Pec pod Snežkou and Špindleruv Mlýn. A little closer are the ski areas of Cerný Dul and Mladé Buky, ideal for skiing with children and for the novice skier. The ski areas are relatively cheap compared to other winter sports countries. The mountains in the Czech Republic are not as high as the Alps, but you can enjoy a fantastic winter sports holiday here
