Holiday home in Osterøy

Peacefully situated holiday home with large hilly beach plot and panoramic views.

The holiday house has 2 living rooms, the living room on the main floor has a wood stove. Dish with Canal Digital including Norwegian and international channels. Separate and well-equipped kitchen. A 200-liter freezer is located in the basement. One bedroom has single beds that can be converted into a double bed. Large garden and great view from the terrace.

There are many hiking opportunities, Osterøy has several mountains that extend above the tree line. The mountains on the south side are considered more hospitable for hiking than the mountains further north on the island. If you want to experience a real panoramic view out to sea, go to Høgafjellet (836m), which is the highest, or Brøknipa, which is the most characteristic. Distance to the center of Bergen is approx. 60 km.

120 meters from the holiday home, it is possible to swim from the rocks. 150 meters from the holiday house is the boathouse with the filleting area. Here is also the boat, a 19-foot Gimo 560 with a 15 HP Suzuki 4-stroke engine, which is for rent in the period 1.5 - 15.10.

Restaurant and grocer at Lonevåg, 4 km. Lone river, 3 km from the holiday house, with salmon up to 2 kg and sea trout up to 1 kg. Both fishing and walking maps can be bought at the petrol station and in shops on Osterøy. Distance to parking in winter (in snow) is 100 m.

If the car has 4-wheel drive, you can drive down the hill to the holiday home. If you have 2-wheel drive, park the car approx. 100 m before the holiday house and the hill.
