The beach gradually descends into the sea, making it very suitable for families with small children. Along the beach there is a beautiful boulevard with many restaurants, shops and bars. Especially in the evening the boulevard with its many lights is very atmospheric. In the old neighborhood 'El Arrabel' you will find many narrow streets with authentic restaurants and specialty shops. Restaurant Puerto Blanco with view on the harbor is highly recommended.

Altea is very picturesque and is also called the most artistic place on the Costa Blanca. When you walk up you end up in the old town full of narrow alleys with restaurants and bars. Characteristic is the famous Virgin del Consuelo church with its beautiful blue domes that can be seen from afar.
