Cozy and original cottage in beautiful location outside Mariannelund close to several popular tourist destinations.

The timbered cottage was built in 2004 and is fully modernly equipped. Lovely living room with stunning ceiling height and a cozy wood burning stove. The living room has exit to the patio at the back, where you can sit down and have a morning coffee, a nice dinner or just enjoy the environment. From the living room there is a (steep) staircase up to the sleeping loft with a double bed and cozy "pillow corner". There are sloping ceilings and standing height in the middle.

On the first floor there is a nice kitchen with dining area and next to the kitchen is a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. Additional sleeping places are in the sofa bed in the living room. This cottage has modern standard with underfloor heating in all rooms downstairs and a nice bathroom with wc, shower, washing machine and dryer.

The cottage is situated in the beautiful Småland forest with open pastures on the backside, where cows sometimes graze during summertime. The nearest neighbor is about 200 m away, but the location is secluded and you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Perfect for those who likes nature, yet want to be close to activities.

If you want to fish there are several lakes in the area (fishing license required). The nearest lake is about 5 km away with a jetty and beach. In the community of Mariannelund there is everything you may need such as grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, cafes etc. It is only a few miles to Astrid Lindgren's world and several other popular tourist destinations.
