Of notable workmanship is the parish church in which a painting by Palma il Giovane is preserved, the fifteenth-century tower with walled busts of Venetian Provveditori.
We recommend excursions to the Foci dello Stella Regional Nature Reserve, which can be visited by boat using the special birdwatching tourist motorboats. Among the reeds live many species of birds including: red herons, mute swans and marsh harriers. Very beautiful is the Marano lagoon, located between the Isonzo and Tagliamento rivers separated from the sea by peninsulas and sand islands.
The reserve includes the delta area of the Stella River and the surrounding lagoon. The area is only accessible by boat and is home to a very large number of bird species. The landscape of the Foci della Stella Reserve is particularly characterized by a large reed bed crossed by a dense network of waterways.
