Holiday home in Øklandsvåg

Great holiday cottage built in a traditional "rorbu" style, with a south-facing and sheltered location. There is a dock right by the cottage and the good fishing spots are close by.

The cottage has a maritime atmosphere, and a modern living room and kitchen section on both floors. The large windows allows you to look down on the fjord and dock. The single beds can be combined into double beds. The bedrooms on the 1st floor has a normal height in the middle and a slanting roof. The largest bathroom has a changing table for babies.

There is floor heating in most rooms except in the bedrooms on the ground floor. There are several international channels and internet with a big capacity. There is a rougher, maritime style on ground floor, with large doors in a boat house style that are located outside of the insulated terrace door of glass. These doors open independently of the glass door. There is a 41 m² terrace outside with 2 tables and benches. Enjoy your meals outdoors on sunny days.

There is another terrace on the other side of the cottage with a large room with a freezer, storing of fishing equipment and a fish cleaning table with running water and lighting.

10 metres from the house there is a small, private sandy beach where you can go swimming. In addition to the signed hiking trails 1 km away, you can go for walks along the heather hills nearby. Two identical boats are available for rent: 18 ft Sting 535 Pro with 40 hp Evinrude 4-stroke motors, Garmin Sonar Map 50 Series chartplotter/GPS/sonar, 4 rodholders and life jackets. The area has excellent fishing conditions all year round. Islands and protecting fjords shelters and ensure that fishing is possible on days with bad weather. 5 km to a lake with trout up to 1 kg.

NB! Children should wear life jackets when on the terrace by the sea. The closes neighbour is unit 48764, 3 metres from the house.

The payment of boat and house deposit needs to be in cash (NOK or EUR). Extra services to be paid by bank card/credit card.
