Holiday home in Atløy

This angler cottage is located in Herland, on the island of Atløy - a part of Askvoll municipality. Herland is a fishing harbour where farming and fishing have always been the vital nerve. The house is renovated and all set up for a fishing holiday, with a fish cleaning table and freezer in the basement. Two of the single beds are 120 cm. You have a magnificent view of the sea, especially from the 2nd floor. Enjoy the spacious playground around the house. Atløy offers a big range in different kinds of landscape. You can go hiking in the mountains on the island, with stunning views of the ocean from the tops, and there is a climbing wall nearby. There are several fishing lakes and of course excellent fishing conditions on the sea. There is a "crab festival" arranged every year, and a café and pub open in summer. Visit Askvoll and its delicacy shop, a nationally renowned shop and café that serves food of high quality made with local ingredients. Park your car on the dock in Gjervik.
