THE AREA:
The holiday home area "Nørreklit" is located about 10 km south of the market town Sæby. It is an ideal holiday destination for families who want to stay in peaceful surroundings near a child-friendly beach yet close to activities and attractions.
In Sæby, there is a wide selection of supermarkets, and the town is very inviting with many retail stores and dining options in the pedestrian streets and around the harbor. In the old town around Algade, Fiskerstien, and the harbor, the houses are beautifully renovated, showcasing the historic charm of the area. There are also several artisans with workshops and shops here.
On the outskirts of Sæby, there is a beautiful 18-hole golf course and Sæbygaard Castle, which is also worth a visit.
Frederikshavn, located a bit north of Sæby, features the Palm Beach, Bangsbo Botanical Garden, and the Powder Tower.
Continuing north to Skagen, you can explore the birdlife at the Grey Lighthouse and visit Grenen, where the two seas meet.
