The town has a quaint medieval center, a city wall and remains from the Roman and medieval times. Giano dell'Umbria lies at the foot of the Monti Martani in a hilly landscap with (walking) trails. Make trips to Spoleto, Montefalco, Assisi, Orvieto and Todi. The Marmore waterfalls are spectacular to see.
