This beautifully designed and furnished cottage is on the upper level of the 17th Century barn (with storage for bicycles underneath) and is reached up interior Welsh slate stone stairs with oak banisters. Cwmgwyn Farm Cottage has been recently restored to a very high standard retaining all the original oak beams, complemented by the Welsh Oak floor, traditional "brace and latch" doors and the original stonework. This 200 acre farm is in red kite country, and is bordered by the River Towy with a mile of trout and salmon fishing on both banks (to be discussed with the owner). Llandovery is approximately 2 miles. The owner also does Bed and Breakfast in the farmhouse if friends or family wish to join guests for a couple of days. Notes: Not suitable for children under the age of 4 years due to slate steps.
