The city was founded 900 years ago, and the medieval churches of Sankt Mikkel and Sankt Peder are still in the center. Here you can experience the medieval city with its winding streets, shops, cozy courtyards and cafes. Incidentally, the fairy tale poet himself, H.C. Andersen, went to Latin school in Slagelse.
Also approx. 10 km from the house you will find the Trelleborg Viking Castle, a cultural history museum at the Trelleborg circle castle, and Circusland, where you can spend a cozy family day filled with adventure, circus and play.
