Charming holiday home in Bønnerup Strand with a fantastic location in a scenic natural area and only 200 metres from a child-friendly beach. Here you will find true summer coziness for the whole family in a classic, family-owned cottage set on a large, secluded natural plot of 4,100 m², surrounded by trees and shrubs.
The house accommodates up to 5 adults and one child, who can sleep in a bunk bed. It features a kitchen, dining area and living room combined in a spacious, bright open-plan area with sea views. The living room has a sofa corner with a wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, and the option to stream to TV and speakers via Chromecast.
There are two smaller bedrooms with a single bed and a narrow double bed with an upper bunk for a child, as well as a larger bedroom with two single beds. The house also has a nice bathroom with shower and a practical utility room with a large fridge-freezer and plenty of space for coats and footwear. Sun loungers, cushions and blankets for outdoor use are also stored here.
From morning to evening, you can enjoy the sun on the two large terraces facing south and west. To the north, there is seating with panoramic views of the sea and beach. After a day at the beach, you can rinse off sand and salt under the outdoor shower.
The covered west-facing terrace offers shelter on cool or wet days and shade during warm weather. A large gas grill is available, perfect for ending the day with a barbecue – for example, fresh fish from the local fish shop at the harbour. The grounds also include a fire pit with equipment for cooking over an open fire, weather permitting (please note fire risk and local fire bans during dry periods).
The fishing village of Bønnerup Strand is about 1,500 metres away and offers restaurants, ice cream and grill bars, a bakery, grocery stores, a fishmonger and other shops, as well as a charming harbour atmosphere.
The area provides excellent opportunities for walking and cycling, and excursions to attractions such as Djurs Sommerland, the Kattegat Centre, the frigate Jylland, animal parks, Mols Bjerge National Park, and city trips to Grenå, Ebeltoft, Randers and Aarhus.
