Cottage in Le Grand-Bornand

This luxury chalet, completed in December 2011, is idyllically situated on the river. The chalet is equipped with all the comforts of home of course and even more.

The house offers WiFi, a fireplace and a Finnish sauna with the possibility of infrared sauna. In the summer season there is a heated private pool of 10.5m x 5m. This pool was completed in November 2014. The garden was completely renovated in spring 2015. The living room has a home entertainment system with Blu-Ray, large screen flat screen and iPod connection. Two satellite receivers bring pictures of the regular Dutch, English, French and German TV channels. Upon arrival, the beds are made and the kitchen facilities are generous. On the ground floor you will find a bedroom/bathroom with traditional sauna and infrared sauna and a kitchen. The adjustable underfloor heating ensures a pleasant indoor climate and the high efficiency fireplaces.

This comfortably furnished chalet is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac overlooking the ski slopes in a quiet part of Chinaillon, the ski station of Le Grand Bornand.

The distance to the nearest ski lift is 700 m, mainly uphill. It is easier to take the skibus, stop at only 150 m, the skibus has a high frequency because all three bus lines pass the stop (école de Chinaillon). This makes (in high season) waiting times of more than 5 minutes rare. For tenants, there is an arrangement with Perillat to rent at the prevailing internet rates (skimium.com) ski and snowboard material without advance reservation/payment. The chalet is very quietly situated on the River Le Torrent du Chinaillon, basking in the sun on the balcony (with comfortable chairs, blankets and sheep skins) you hear and see only the river. The village of Le Chinaillon is situated at approx. 1200 m distance with a bakery, supermarket, office du Tourisme, cinema and many shops which are open in both winter and summer season. In summer every sunday morning a vide grenier ( literally loft emptying) takes place in the center of Chinaillon.
