The country house accommodates 14 people and is situated in a 3 hectare park-like garden with a view over the La Rhune mountain (Pyrenees). The flower-filled, enclosed garden consists of a large lawn, plus various species of trees and plants bordering onto a forest. There is ample scope for children to play outside. There is also a covered barn with a table football table, a ping pong table and a fitness area with a bicycle, step fitness equipment, Power Plate and a punch bag. The country house is just 15 km from the well-known seaside resort of Biarritz and 8 km from Bayonne, the capital of France's Basque Country. The Atlantic coast in this region is also famous for its high waves, ideal for surfers. Aquitaine, which includes the well known Dordogne region, is a holiday destination with an abundance of natural beauty, a pleasant climate and great cuisine. Bergerac, Bordeaux and Sarlat are certainly worth a visit.
