The Property
The Gîte de Saint-Phal offers 5,000 m² of grounds comprising six buildings: three residential and three multi-purpose. A concert hall is available upon request, and the swimming pool is open to the public from April to October.
The residential section consists of three buildings: the main building, constructed in 1300, the Grande Maison (sleeps 8-15 and offers 120 m² of reception space for dining or relaxation), and two outbuildings: Le Fournil (sleeps 6-11) and La Longère (sleeps 4-6).
The multi-purpose spaces include the Atelier, the Summer Pavilion, the Pool House, and the concert hall (available upon request).
The gardens are arranged around the swimming pool (12 x 5 meters with a dome and a 200 m² solarium), the fire pit area (firewood provided), the Grand Verger (large orchard), and the Petit Verger (small orchard).
Scattered throughout the property are four varieties of apples, pears, three varieties of cherries, two varieties of plums, walnuts, hazelnuts, blackberries, figs, and quinces… available for guests to enjoy on-site during their respective seasons.
Activities are available: table tennis, mini-football, archery, darts, badminton, mini-water polo, boules and skittles, footballs, and volleyball. (Please confirm availability before arrival.)
The property has parking for approximately ten cars, and two charging points are available nearby. Oversized vehicles can park in the orchard or in the church square. (Please be mindful of low-profile vehicles due to the gate height.)
A laundry service is offered for stays longer than three nights: bins are provided, and linens are returned clean, dry, and folded. We provide baby equipment (travel cots, baby bath, changing table).
Around the Gîte de Saint-Phal: Explore the area on foot or by bike without a car: walks in the hills, across fields or through woods, and jogging trails for those who enjoy sports. Visit La Ferme des Joncs (goat farm) to pick up milk and cheese at the educational farm and see the animals – ideal for children.
Meals: Breakfast can be delivered upon request from 9:00 am – at an additional cost based on the booked capacity.
We do not offer a set menu, but catering services are available for groups organizing events – please contact us for details.
Sailing: Sailing trips are available from April to September, depending on availability and weather conditions, on Lake Orient (23 hectares). For information and reservations, please contact us.
Pets: Animals live on the property (a dog, a cat, a rooster, chickens, rabbits, hedgehogs, squirrels, etc.). Pets are welcome upon request only and after prior approval. An additional fee per day per animal will be charged. Additional charges may apply to the security deposit in case of soiling, hair, damage, etc.
Important: For group bookings, please contact us for more information and prior agreement if your project involves more than a standard overnight stay. Contact us to confirm the number of bedrooms, the facilities to be made available, and whether the property can be reserved exclusively for your group.
The owner, who lives on-site, will do their best to ensure the facilities are available but cannot be held responsible for breakdowns, technical issues, or supply delays. Owners must be informed of any potential access to the property by third parties. All access must be approved in advance and may be refused.
