A very well-designed summer house with a focus on views and natural light. The large, bright living room with dining area and the open, functional kitchen form the home’s cosy hub, where the panoramic windows let you enjoy views of Balka Strand and the bay. There is access to the large terrace from the living room and to the enclosed courtyard from the kitchen. On the ground floor you’ll find a lovely bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with toilet, shower and whirlpool bath. A good staircase leads upstairs to two bedrooms with single beds and an additional toilet. All in all, a great house for a wonderful holiday; the ground floor is also accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Enjoy life outdoors
The house sits on a beautiful natural plot. Spend the day in the garden furniture on the large terrace, where the sun warms you as you enjoy the view of the sandy beach. The child-friendly sandy beach close by invites a quick dip; afterwards you can rinse off the sand under the outdoor shower. Fire up the barbecue and prepare the day’s treats while you sip a cool drink in the sun loungers. Parking is available at the house.

Get close to local experiences
Excellent location in Balka, just a few metres from one of Bornholm’s most beautiful bathing beaches, Balka Strand. The beach is family-friendly and has lifeguards in summer. In summer there’s plenty going on, including chances to try windsurfing, kayaking and kitesurfing. Bring a bike and enjoy the lovely nature; the roads are good and largely flat, so everyone can join. To the north you’ll find a protected area with heather, sea views and a bird sanctuary. If you like an active holiday, this is a great base. It’s also not far to Snogebæk, with many interesting shops such as Kjærstrup Chokolade, a fish shop/smokehouse, clothing stores and several very good restaurants. Have a great holiday!
