Situated in the heart of the Thuringian mountains and close to the famous Rennsteig hiking trail, this is an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts. Beautiful walking and hiking routes start right from the doorstep. In winter, you’ll find well-maintained cross-country ski trails and downhill ski areas nearby. Restaurants and supermarkets are just 1 km away. The nearest train station is 3 km away, and the closest airport is 40 km from the property.

Guests can enjoy lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The 300 m² garden, sunbathing lawn, barbecue, and sauna (available for an extra fee) are shared with the homeowner. Please note that the garden is partially fenced; there is a shared ground-level opening that can be closed but may not be fully secure for pets off-leash. Central and underfloor heating ensures a comfortable stay, and free garage parking is available on the property.
