Description
Welcome to the former school and presbytery of Netze-Waldeck, a holiday home that stands out from all others. This historic building from 1907 has been carefully renovated and equipped with modern amenities including a modern kitchen and new bathrooms while retaining authentic features such as half-timbered walls and high ceilings. With almost 300 m² of living space, this holiday home offers a lot of comfort and space for a pleasant holiday with family, friends or colleagues.
Each bedroom has its own theme, allowing guests of all generations to feel as if they are in different worlds, from the exotic 1001 Nights theme to the folkloric "yodelling" theme. And if you want to go back in time, there's even a nostalgia room. Or would you rather have less stimuli? In that case, choose the 'White Room' for your night's rest.
The kitchen is particularly well equipped and offers everything the hobby chef needs to prepare fantastic meals for the whole group. And for the coffee lovers among us, there are 4 options: there is a choice of Nespresso, filter coffee, Senseo and even a fully automatic D'Longhi coffee machine. And of course we have a milk foamer, kettle, toaster, blender, hand mixer, food processor, fondue set, chocolate fondue set, extra induction plate, grill plate, egg cooker; anyway, too much to mention.
The former classroom now offers an opportunity to play table tennis, give presentations with the video projector, meditate or do yoga. Outside in the enclosed garden with a running stream, you can enjoy a relaxing environment or a great barbecue with the whole group. There is sufficient garden furniture to dine outside during the summer.
Children
There are games available, a children's kitchen, play mat, some toys, sleigh, table tennis, playpen, 3 cots and 3 high chairs. For the cots (60 x 120 cm) and the playpen, you have to bring your own bed linen.
Guests with disabilities
Although the house is not specifically adapted for wheelchair users, it still offers everything that is necessary to make the stay as comfortable as possible for guests with mobility restrictions. The ground floor features a bedroom for senior citizens in the style of the 1970s. Next to this bedroom, you will find a small bathroom, equipped with a shower stool. The bedroom also features a raised bed with an adjustable headboard; a toilet seat, toilet supports and a walker are also available. Thanks to the wide doors and the lack of thresholds on the ground floor, moving through the house is easy.
