Private chalet in Kaprun

A place to arrive, take a deep breath and feel at home – surrounded by nature, with unobstructed views of the mountains, valley and sky. This lovingly renovated chalet is quietly situated on a hill above Kaprun – all for you alone. Perfect for families or small groups of up to 6 adults and 4 children. Here you will find a loving home and a warm-hearted host who has furnished it with great care and personality.

Inside, you will find a spacious living room with a fireplace, a kitchen (including a fondue and raclette set), a bedroom with a double bed and two further bedrooms with double beds and double loft beds (mattresses directly under the roof – ideal for children, but not for adults).

Hiking trails start right outside the front door, and in winter the ski bus stop is right next to the house. Thanks to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, snow is guaranteed almost all year round. Wildlife fans will enjoy animal visitors – a curious fox regularly stops by.

Access is directly from the main road (steep driveway). There is a small cable car for luggage. The large natural garden is a paradise for playing and relaxing.

To help you make the most of your time here, we have put together a few personal tips and recommendations for you: Our favourite activities right on our doorstep: Hiking from the door: From the house, there are fantastic trails leading in all directions – ideal for walks, mountain tours or running. Sigmund-Thun-Klamm (1.3 km): A spectacular gorge with wooden walkways, a waterfall and lots of nature. Kitzsteinhorn & Maiskogel (approx. 3 km): Skiing, hiking or simply taking the cable car up to the Gipfelwelt 3000 – magnificent views included! Kaprun reservoirs: A real highlight in summer – take the bus and alpine lift to the mighty Mooserboden dam walls at an altitude of 2,000 m. Pure relaxation at the Tauern Spa Kaprun (5 km): large thermal baths and sauna area with panoramic outdoor pool – perfect after an active day. Food & drink – our recommendations: Hilberger's Beisl (Kaprun centre) – modern Alpine, down-to-earth and high quality Dorfkrug – traditional and cosy with regional specialities Tafern Gastwirtschaft – stylish and special, with a beautiful garden in summer Kitsch & Bitter (bar) – for a drink or a glass of wine in the evening Tip: You will find a fondue and raclette set in the kitchen – perfect for a cosy evening at home!
