The house dates from the late 1970s but was most recently renovated and upcycled in 2022, with a particular emphasis on the upcycling aspect.
For us, it has been important to preserve the traditional summer house atmosphere without introducing too many modern solutions. The greatest luxuries are therefore freshly brewed coffee, peace and quiet, and nature right outside the door.
The main house combines the kitchen and living room in one open space. The kitchen is equipped with basic spices, pots, pans, a kettle, a coffee machine with grinder, and a Nespresso machine.
The conservatory offers a lovely place to enjoy breakfast while waking up alongside the wildlife in the garden.
There are also two bedrooms in the main house. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the other contains a single bed.
The annex, connected to the summer house by a wooden terrace, features an adjustable double bed, a Nespresso machine, and some tableware, allowing you to retreat and enjoy some privacy if desired.
Outside, you will find several wooden terraces and cozy seating areas, allowing you to enjoy the sun as it moves across the sky.
In late summer, you and your guests are welcome to pick and enjoy the organic blackberries, blackcurrants, raspberries, wild strawberries, apples, and cherries growing on the property.
Whether you are travelling alone or as a couple, there is plenty of space.
The property is equipped with a 1000 Mbps fibre-optic internet connection, making it easy to work remotely, stream movies, or whatever else you may need.
Please note that this is a summer house with a hot water tank, so the supply of hot water is not unlimited for long showers.
All in all, the summer house is probably better suited to couples than to families.
