Holiday home in Ljungby Ö

Set in scenic surroundings, this charming, modern cottage makes a perfect holiday home. It is located only two kilometres from a lovely bathing spot by lake Tjurken. The comfortable terrace gives you a great view of the fields and forest that surround the cottage.

This stylish, unique cottage was built in 2013 and features three levels.The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The stylish living room features a TV and a wall of panorama windows. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two singles. There's a simple bed ( mattress ) in the mezzanine. The charming, wooden terrace has an awning that you can use if you want shade from the sun. There's a carport next to the house that you are welcome to use.

Visit in the early spring to see the cranes arrive to the nearby lake. This is an experience you won't forget! Two kilometres from the hose you will find another lake, lake Tjurken, with a large boat dock. This is where you'll find the boat that is included in your rent. The landlord supplies a fishing license for pole fishing. It is valid to use for fishing in eight different lakes in the area. The landlord has also arranged a covered grill area by the dock.

There are many nice places you can visit. If you are looking for shopping and entertainment, why not visit Ljungby and Växjö? If you feel like making a day trip, Vimmerby is a great destination. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The Kingdom of Crystal is another interesting destination. This is where the famous Kosta Boda glass is made. Västervik is also well worth a visit, offering shopping, beaches and many events.
