The semi-detached house "sansibar" with sauna and fireplace is furnished in a cosy maritime country house style and offers space for up to 8 people (including 2 for children). Quietly situated with a view of a pond, you are still only 500 metres from the beach.

The combined, bright living and dining room has a comfortable sofa with TV, fireplace and spacious dining table as well as a fully equipped kitchen. WLAN is available as fibre-optic high-speed internet (100 Mbit). From the living room you come directly to the terrace, where the wide view into the green will inspire you. Look forward to a delicious breakfast on the terrace while your children can play in the fenced garden. Or perhaps you would prefer to end the day with a glass of wine in the houses own beach chair?

On the lower floor you will find one of the two full bathrooms and the utility room with washing machine. After a walk on the beach, why not warm up again in the houses sauna?

A staircase leads to the second floor, where you will find three separate bedrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds and each has a balcony with a view of the lovely garden and a beautiful pond. A fixed cot is also available. The third bedroom is furnished with a single bed with pull-out function and desk with extendable table top.
This room also provides access to the fourth bedroom in the attic. This is accessible via a space-saving staircase and has two single beds. Children love this room with its panoramic view, 2 cosy armchairs and lots of Lego toys. There is also a second full bathroom on the second floor.

The bedrooms have new comfortable mattresses and are fitted with fly screens and external blinds along with the living and dining room. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms provides comfortable warmth on colder days.

Kaltenhof is an idyllic, quiet place on the northern side of the island of Poel that invites you to dream and relax. Surrounded by lots of nature, you can reach the fine sandy beach Schwarzer Busch in a few minutes walk at a distance of 500 metres. The popular bathing beach is particularly popular with families due to its gently sloping water and wide sandy beach.

The adjacent promenade also offers you various gastronomic establishments and exciting leisure activities, such as mini golf or an indoor playground. Shops for your daily needs can also be reached from Kaltenhof in just a few minutes by bike or car. The numerous cycling and hiking trails are the best way to explore the unspoilt island of Poel. You are welcome to rent bicycles and purchase cycling and hiking maps from our office.

The nearby town of Wismar with its medieval town centre is a World Heritage Site and always worth a visit.

Tourist tax is payable in cash on site (high season 2.50 per person per day, 1.50 in low season).
