Holiday home in Kungälv

This charming holiday home is set on an elevated plot near the sea in Ödsmålsmosse, north of Kungälv. The cottage has a spacious terrace and a beautiful view of the sea. It's only 19 kilometres from Marstrand, the sailing metropolis of the Swedish west coast.

The cottage features a family room with a dining table and a sofa bed. The small, homely kitchen has the basic amenities. On the mezzanine you will find two single beds and there's a double bed in the annex. The lovely terrace has outdoor furniture, sun loungers, and a great view of the sea.There's also an outdoor grill.

A set of stairs takes you down the mountain to the lovely natural beach which is equipped with a bathing dock. There is also a larger sandy beach within walking distance. The nearest town is Kode, 7 kilometres, with a shop and a pizza place.

The area offers a lot to see and do and there are many charming seaside towns to visit. Marstrand is only 19 kilometres away. Or visit the nature reserve in Svartdalen, with it's beautiful lakes, excellent for swimming in. Gothenburg is only 40 kilometres away, here you can visit the popular amusement park Liseberg or Universeum. Stenungsund is 24 kilometres away and has about 60 different shops.

Bohuslän has been populated since the stone ages and there are many interesting ancient remains here, stone carvings, ancient grave fields, and a stone circle. Bohuslän is thought to be the home of Beowulf from the Old English epic poem.
