In San Benedetto del Tronto, in a newly built building with a lift, we have the Tiffany Suite, an apartment with 6 beds, 30 meters from the sea on 2 levels: the fourth floor with living room and kitchenette and equipped with all appliances (column fridge with freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, 4-burner plate), a double sofa bed as well as a balcony, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. A staircase then leads into the attic where we find the second bedroom with a double bed with its bathroom with shower.
The apartment is equipped with all the comforts, from the air conditioning in every room to the independent heating, to the wi-fi connection in every room, to the iron with ironing board, to the washing machine.
In front of us there are many bathing establishments that rent umbrellas and sunbeds for the summer period (10 / 06-07 / 09) as well as providing a catering service.
Bicycle lovers have at their disposal a bike path (which passes right below us) that is tens of kilometers long and connects all the towns of the Riviera of the palms and which, after crossing the bridge over the Tronto river, connects to the cycle path of Abruzzo.
But even in winter San Benedetto deserves a visit for cultural and gastronomic tourism. Many are the villages of the Piceno that absolutely deserve to be visited, from Offida (the city of tombolo and wine), to Ripatransone, Petritoli, Montefiore Sull'aso, Colonnella, Aquaviva etc., etc.
For food and wine tourism the piceno is the land of the reds with the Rosso Piceno and the Rosso Piceno Superiore and then of the first whites, Pecorino and Passerina, two ancient vines that thanks to the pioneering work of some wineries have been recovered and produced also in a sparkling wine version. And then the cured meats, from the loin to the ciauscolo (a spreadable salami), the cheeses, etc.
