The cabin is located in Rondane National Park. From the cabin you have a spectacular view of the famous Rondeslottet and the majestic mountain scenery. Great hiking possibilities both summer and winter. The cabin has a roofed terrace. In the summer season there is several hiking trails to explore. You can walk up to Sukkertoppen, 1200 masl. The hike takes approx. 1 hour, at the top you can enjoy the great view of 3 National Parks. During the summer it is also possible to go horseback riding, fishing, cycling and several summit hikes. In Årvillingen you can fish for trout and char. If you are lucky you might see caribou. There is several cafes in the area and at Rustugusetra you can buy freshly made bread and groceries.
