There is a popular salt processing centre, where you can drift in salt water. You can take a vintage-train through nature in Mariager Fjord. The national park Lille Vildemose will delight every nature lover. The beautiful recreational area Øster Hurup with its sub-tropical water park, a splendid beach, charming harbour and many shops is only 8 km from the house. You can rent horses, bicycles and surf boards here. You can also explore splendid nature from the river side paddle steamer Svanen, which travels from Mariager until Als Odde. You can also rent a boat for fishing adventure in Mariager Fjord. The cities Hadsund and Hobro have abundant shopping opportunities. You can visit Tivoliland and the Zoo in Aalborg with its 1600 animals from all over the world.
