Located in the attractive north Jutland countryside between the North Sea and the Limfjord, this fantastic, 1000 m2 four-winged property is constructed in the style of a monas-tery with battlements and a spire, and boasts an exciting history dating back to 1604. Today the property has been completely refurbished in such a way to allow guests to enjoy the best possible comfort and luxury, while at the same time retaining the houses historic atmosphere.

A Roman-inspired bathing paradise
In 2006, this propertys exceptional 165 m2 swimming and bathing facilities were totally renovated using inspiration from the Roman era. This tasteful area is decorated with quarry tiles and natural stone in soft natural colours, and the 50 m2 swimming pool is sur-rounded by impressive pillars and flickering torches. From the warm, bubbling spa a waterfall sprays down into the pool below, which also boasts a water slide and massage jets. After bathing you can relax and warm yourself in the sauna and solarium, or in the well-equipped relaxation room or wellness bench.

Activities for all - both indoors and out
This propertys large activity room offers a wide range of pursuits, including table tennis, bar billiards, darts, table football, fitness and aerobic equipment. The property is situated on a 21,000 m2 natural plot of land which offers plenty of space to enjoy nature and the great outdoors. The extensive grounds include a mini golf course, badminton, beach volleyball and petanque courts (the latter two of international-standard size), football pitch, climbing frame, playground, barbecue hut and a cosy fireplace area. The enormous 300 m2 patio is a natural assembly point when the sun comes out.

From "Bakkegaarden", it is only 1.5 kilometres to a charming sailing harbour and local shops, where good opportunities for bathing and surfing also exist. A small ferry sails from nearby Feggesund to the Limfjord island of Mors, while the Vejlerne bird sanctuary and the 47 metre-high limestone cliffs at Bulbjerg are also popular local destinations. There are also two golf courses and an outdoor go carting circuit in the vicinity.

The 1000 m2 of space provides guests with well-furnished luxury and an atmosphere that is in keeping with the propertys long history. Guests seeking peace and quiet can retire to their fashionable bedroom, which is equipped with double bed, private luxury bathroom, free Internet access and TV and radio if required. The office on the first floor has a PC with Internet, while the library provides guests with a chance to sit back and relax with a good book. For children, this property boasts a specially equipped "cosy corner" with Playstation2 and TV.

Many of this propertys rooms are ideal for enjoying good company. These include the large, Roman-inspired pool and bathing complex, the well-equipped activity room or one of the comfortably decorated living rooms. There are also many communal outdoor activities on offer, including mini golf, badminton, petanque and beach volleyball. A warm summer evening can be enjoyed beside the barbecue area or at the attractive patio, which is decorated with Spanish quarry tiling. The combined kitchen / dining room is perfect for an evening of company while enjoying a good meal. The kitchen is well equipped with eight cooking areas, two ovens, two fridges and two dishwashers.

With the exception of one, all these rooms are placed on the same level, which makes this property well suited to wheelchair users. One highceilinged living room serves as an additional floor above the cooking and eating area.
