When Summer is in full swing, most Europeans living in the cities love to go out and sit in the park, chill out, have a picnic and take the family out for the day. Nearly every city has some urban park be it on the outskirts of the cities or inner city grasslands which are a brilliant way to relax and unwind after a busy day at work.

The main criteria for selecting in a City isn't so much for what it is, but more for what it will do during the year that it holds the position of European Capital Of Culture.
