A special 4 day bank holiday from Saturday 2nd to Tuesday 5th June, the UK will be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the 60 years of her reign. This will be an extended weekend of celebrations up and down the country.
You can be part of it too and there will be parties and events that we can all be part of. There will also be thousands of Jubilee Beacons lit all around the World in celebration with the UK and Her Majesty.

When Summer is in full swing, most Europeans living in the cities love to go out and sit in the park, chill out, have a picnic and take the family out for the day. The Olympics are days away, the clock is ticking and the hype is heightening. For those who may not have been lucky enough to get tickets for any of the events, you can still get involved, join the party and have a good time in London.
The city has been making extra effort to ensure that the Summer of 2012 is enjoyed by all and runs as smoothly as possible. London was recently named the best city in the World by Trip Advisor coming in ahead of second and third place winners New York and Rome. The Royal Wedding last summer is being 'credited' with much of the 800,000 increase in overseas visitors to the UK last year, as more than half of this increase was accounted for by people from Asia, South America and Africa, with visitors from Brazil increasing by 50% and from China by 33%.

The build up to the London 2012 Olympics are well under way. At the beginning of 2011 London held a test event to make sure everything will run smoothly during the games. If you are one of the lucky ones to be visiting London during August of 2012 you will not be disappointed with the number of attractions and events available in the city.
