The sandy beach of Pentrez, with its sailing school on the bay of Douarnenez, is 12 miles away and there is a good choice of other beaches nearby, including those of the Crozon peninsular. The beautiful cathedral city of Quimper, for excellent shopping and supermarkets, is 15 miles away. Set in a pleasant garden, with lawn and well stocked flower beds, in unspoilt rural surroundings of green valleys and woods and with a private swimming pool (8x4m 01/06-30/09). Sunny south facing terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers, a covered barbecue and eating out area in a former barn close by. The friendly and very welcoming owners live just across the courtyard.

Carefully renovated in traditional style, with exposed stone walls and wood beams, the house is full of character. The large open plan living room has a sitting area with french windows opening onto the terrace, a sofa bed (suitable only for a child), TV with English channels, a dining area and kitchen area with gas oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms under the eaves, a twin and a double, a bathroom and separate wc. Cot, high chair, stair gate and other baby equipment provided. Electricity payable locally. Bed linen and towels available at extra cost payable locally.
